Thanksgiving in North Carolina

We took our Thanksgiving vacation this year in North Carolina, to see Mr. Jim's family. We did the usual sight seeing, shopping and eating! Bobby got to see Santa!

Of course, we had to go bowling, it's a sort of tradition we have. Bobby loves to bowl, and actually scored pretty close to Mommy (of course, Bobby had bumpers to help him!)

After getting a few pointers from Mr. Jim and Jimmy, Bobby turned out to be a pro!

And what trip to N.C. would be complete without visiting with the animals - Here are Repete and Charlie!

The Colors of Autumn!

Well, Autumn has finally arrived and I saw this amazing tree outside my school offices! And I've always wanted to try posting a movie, so here goes. Let me know what you think... there's not alot of action, so don't get your hopes up!

The Cows Again!

We took some time to go see the cows again! There are 4 new calves - but they couldn't muscle past the girls to be fed at the fence!

Looks like Bobby is really getting to know the Girls! He thinks they're slobbery - but it looks like they think he's yummy!

And of course, the horse got jealous that the cows were getting all the attention, so we brought her some carrots, which Bobby thought were yummy and he started munching on them too!

Baking with Mommy!

Mommy got the itch to bake, which is one of the things Mommy likes to do best! This time it was Mommom's Pumpkin Bread recipe. Bobby was a huge help - he especially enjoyed greasing the pans, which is good because Mommy doesn't like that part AT ALL! The pumpkin breads came out delicious - even without the cloves, which Mommy didn't have. And Bobby got to use the apron from his Halloween costume!

Happy Halloween!

Bobby and John on Halloween! Bobby was cooking up some Halloween fun, and John looked like a white ranger, although he had some different name for his costume. Bobby didn't mind Halloween as much as last year, which was a little traumatic. Maybe he's growing into it!
