Class Trip...

Bobby's class went to Storybook Land on a class trip on Friday. We had alot of fun! He and one of his classmates drug Mommy around at lightening speed and they had to ride alot of rides! We stood in line for the old-fashioned cars, and just as it was our turn one of the cars came off the track and they closed down the ride. We never did get time to ride that one. But.... the merry-go-round was a big hit!

Another Cake...

Well, we tried again to bake a cake for bingo, and it worked! This time I greased and floured, and left it in the pan a little longer to cool. I hear the bingo-players were very pleased!

Rex?

So, we decided to change Rex's name to "Rosie". She just looks like a "Rosie" to us! Rosie is still doing fine!

Bobby Gets a Pet!

After hamster-sitting Cheerio over the week-end, Bobby thought that a hamster seemed like a good pet. So, off we went to the pet store last night. We decided on a Chinese Dwarf hamster which we named "Rex". She's really tiny, and will only grow a little more. What sold us on her is that her breed rarely bites. She's very docile and overnight explored her new habitat, climbing up and down in tubes, taking her midnight snack "upstairs" and everything! She was very lively this morning and greeted us with a whisker-wiggle!

Good Clean Fun!

This is what happens when Bobby and his cousin John play in Poppop's garden! The boys were up to their elbows in dirt! I'm surprised they didn't hit China!

Bobby At Work With Mommy!

Thursday, April 26th is Take Your Child to Work Day! Bobby has been scanning all the books in the Library for Mommy. Yea! So far, he's being a big help. We'll see what the rest of the day brings. All Bobby wants to know is "When's Lunch?"

A New Magazine!

Bobby finally got his new National Geographic Kids magazine in the mail! His Great Aunt Sandra from Florida sent it up to him and boy, was he excited! We had to sit and read some of it before school, which we didn't really have time for, but we made a couple extra minutes! Thanks, Aunt Sandra!!!!
