Mr. Bobby Branches Out

Bobby got one of his first lawn-mowing lessons recently! He did a good job. He got extra practice on the straight rows - Mr. Jim took care of the turns and tight spots around the swing set. (If only it was a rider - we could make some money with him!)

Bobby Goes to the Library!

Today is "Bring Your Child to Work Day" and Bobby gets to visit Mommy's Library. He has taught almost every class today and checked books in and out. He has done a very good job reading to the classes, even to classes that are older than he is!

Bobby got to help checking books in and out. Before long, he didn't need Mommy's help any more.

Bobby was a pro at reading to the classes - he even got the hang of reading upside down to the children.

And of course, there's always lunch! It's Mommy's favorite part of the day, and it looks like Bobby feels the same way!

Bobby's Face Meets the Sidewalk...

Unfortunately, play-accidents come with the territory of "boys", so I hear. Bobby had a bicycle mishap and fell over on the sidewalk, somehow getting all tangled up and stuff. His eyebrow hit hard, and off we went to the E.R. They were all very nice, just a little s..l..o..w, as E.R.s can be. Bobby had a CAT scan, which determined that his brains are still all in place and nothing else is broken or cracked, so he's good to go. The doctor said it'll get a little uglier before it gets better - yuk!

Here's a picture from the NEXT DAY! Believe it or not, Bobby's eye looks good, compared to last night!

A Perfect Day for a Car Wash!

When we all got home yesterday, it was an incredible 75 sunny degrees! Nobody wanted to play indoors, not even Bobby! So he and Jimmy washed Mommy's car! Yea! I'm surprised they didn't have to do it twice, it was so dirty!

Look Out Rosie!

It seems as though Miss Molly is quite interested in the little noises coming from this cage - poor Rosie! She probably feels like she's destined to be breakfast! No worries - the cage is taped down and, although Miss Molly is a crafty little one, I think Rosie is safe for now!

Finally, No Tooth!

Bobby FINALLY lost that tooth! It seems to have taken forever! He was very excited and had to call all our relatives to tell them. He didn't quite understand why he couldn't take his tooth to school on Monday to show all his friends - I told him the Tooth Fairy would take it from under his pillow and put a surprise there in it's place. He seemed to be okay with that!

King of the Mulch!

Bobby insisted on scaling the mulch pile before it all got distributed - it was considerably smaller at this point, and Bobby didn't want to miss the opportunity!
