We had a wonderful week in Maine with Poppop! Even though it was VERY hot at home, it was a comfortable 65 degrees there with an occasional shower that didn't really bother us much. 
The ride was LONG! But we finally got there and were very excited!
We got to look at some boats in Bar Harbor. The view was spectacular! We looked for beach glass on the shore and brought some home with us.
And of course we got to eat lobsters, which is what everyone does in Bar Harbor. But MMMMM they were good!!!!!
On the way home we stopped in Mystic Seaport, took a swim in the pool and had dinner. The next day before we left, we went the the aquarium and saw alot of fish and penguins, and got to feed the birds in their screened-in sanctuary. It was awesome!

Hey there, Christine! I have been checking your blog for some time now and wondered where you were! I hope all is going well...
Glad you liked Maine. We are supposed to go up at the end of this month to visit with Dad. How is your Dad doing??? Congrats on his trophy!
